Dr. Vidhyadharan Sivakumar is an internationally trained head and neck cancer surgeon and surgical oncologist in Chennai, specialising in the surgical treatment of cancers of the mouth, tongue, throat, voice box, thyroid and salivary glands. As Clinical Director and Senior Consultant Surgeon at THANC Hospital (The Head and Neck Centre), Kilpauk, he leads a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive care, from diagnosis through surgery to rehabilitation, using some of India’s most advanced head and neck cancer treatment technology.

With 15+ years of specialist practice in head and neck surgical oncology and laryngology, Dr. Vidhyadharan offers advanced, function-preserving techniques including Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) with the da Vinci system, transoral laser microsurgery, endoscopic skull base surgery and microvascular reconstruction. He is a recognised authority in the management of voice, airway and swallowing disorders (dysphagia), vocal cord paralysis and obstructive sleep apnoea, restoring not only health but speech, swallowing and quality of life after cancer treatment.
